
Banana-Cinnamon Vegan Affogato Bliss
A sophisticated yet simple dairy-free dessert featuring creamy banana 'soft serve' spiced with warm cinnamon. Drowned in a shot of hot espresso, it creates a delicious hot-and-cold contrast perfect for a quick indulgence.
Instructions
Step 1: Prep the bananas
If not already sliced, cut the frozen bananas into coins for easier blending.
Step 2: Make the banana soft serve
Place the frozen banana slices in a food processor or high-speed blender. Pulse until crumbly, then blend continuously until thick and creamy like soft serve, scraping down the sides as necessary. Add the ground cinnamon and blend briefly to combine.
Step 3: Scoop and optionally drizzle
Scoop the cinnamon banana soft serve into two small glasses or bowls. Drizzle with the vegan chocolate sauce if using.
Step 4: Finish with espresso
Pour a hot shot (about 1fl oz/30ml) of espresso over each serving and enjoy immediately while the contrast between hot and cold is distinct.
